Jag har sett en hel del dokumentärer den senaste tiden om allt möjligt, allt från mord, till ekonomi till berättelser om personer. I veckan såg jag Catfish (2010) där två unga filmmakare följer deras kompis Nev och hans online vänskap med en åttaårig flicka, Abby, och hennes familj. Det börjar med att Abby skickar en teckning hon målat av en av Nevs fotografier och deras förhållande fortsätter med internetkontakt och telefonsamtal Nev och mamman, Angela, imellan och senare hennes dotter, Megan. Nev och Meg börjar ha någon slags distans-internetförhållande och Abby fortsätter skicka sina målningar till Nev. Dokumentären följer hur familjens och Nevs förhållande utvecklas och ju längre de fortsätter filma desto mera shockerande avslöjningar kommer fram. Även om de inte visste hur denna story skulle sluta när de började filma kunde de aldrig gissa hurdan real-life "thriller" de skulle sluta som. Verkligen en intressant dokumentär som visar en glimt in i den mänskliga psykologin som jag satt fastklistrad vid tills den tog slut. Jag rekommenderar verkligen!
EN: I've seen pretty many documentaries the past weeks about lots of stuff, everything from murders, to economy to tales about people. This week I watched the documentary Catfish (2010) filmed by two young filmmakers, who follows their friend Nev and his online friendship with a 8 year old girl, Abby, and her family. It all starts when Abby sends a painting of one of Nevs photographies to him and their relationship continues with internet contact and phone conversations with her mom, Angela, and later with her daughter Megan. Nev and Meg starts to have some kind of distance-internet relationship and Abby keeps sending paintings to Nev. The documentary follows how the famliy's and Nev's relationship evolves and the longer they film the more shocking revelations surfaces. Even though they didn't know how this story would end when they started filming, they could never guess what a real life "thriller" it would end as. Really an interesting documentary that shows a bit of the human psychology that I watched like I was glued on my place. I really recommend!
I have to add that the documentary's reality has been debated, but you can investigate yourselves on that and decide if you believe the story or not.
